Aca-Media Tie-Ins at SCMS

Our SCMS preview episode will be out in a couple of days, but in the meantime we wanted to alert you to a couple of good tie-ins at SCMS with previous Aca-Media content:

TEACHING RACE & MEDIA IN POST-RACIAL/POST-TRAYVON AMERICA

Paula Amad won this for her article “Visual Riposte: Looking Back at the Return of the Gaze as Postcolonial Theory’s Gift to Film Studies” (Cinema Journal 52, no. 3, 2013).  Listen to Michael's interview with Paula from Episode 6
